This July the CRF board approved a new membership category: LIFE MEMBER.
This life membership sells for $500 and includes a free CRF t-shirt, hat and aluminum water bottle, plus a nice but not expensive plaque commemorating your gift. (We don't waste your valuable donations on frills!).
POOPED OUT SYSTEM READY TO GO:
Headquarters Septic System mapped and pumped...it may not seem like much to you but it was a big effort and the headwaters of the Salinas will continue to be safe. Many thanks to the San Luis Obispo County Fines Committee for helping fund this important effort.
OPEN HOUSE IS A BIG SUCCESS!
Many visitors had a great time with the BBQ and taking tours to see the wild flowers and the elk. Over $2,000 was raised for the foundation.
MAJOR GIFT:
The foundation's endowment fund has been the recipient of a major gift from Theresa Lloyd Bucher Foundation. This $10,000.00 gift will join other funds in the endowment with the purpose of one day funding a full time steward for the reserve who can manage the property and foster ecological education and research. Theresa "Terry" Bucher and her husband Larry have been long time supporters of wildlife conservation causes including habitat preservation and ecological education. Thank You, Terry!
