The Chimineas Ranch Foundation is a California non-profit corporation recognized by the United States Internal Revenue Service as an IRC 501(c)3 tax exempt public charity.

The public ranch gate is located at mile marker 45, on Highway 166 in the Cuyama Valley, approximately 15 miles west of New Cuyama.

Public access is limited. 
All vehicle gates are locked and drive on access is by written permit only.
Equestrian, bicycle & pedestrian access is permited per the posted regulations at the public gate.  Certain areas of the ranch are closed to the public and are so posted.  All "off road" vehicle traffic is prohibited. 
ATV's are not permitted at any time.
